July Newsletter
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
As we approach the end of the academic year, we’d like to take a moment to look back and celebrate what a lovely year it has been. We are incredibly proud of all our students and the progress they have made. Their dedication and hard work have shone through every single week.
We’ve seen a fantastic turnout for both recorded and face-to-face examinations, with students demonstrating wonderful focus and commitment. As part of our work building links with local schools, we have also loved starting weekly lessons at Anson Primary School. Since starting lessons in October, the children there performed brilliantly in assembly, and some even took their very first exam!
For those who still have recorded exams to take place over the coming weeks, we wish you the very best of luck!
Community Events
A particular highlight of our winter term was participating in the beautiful St Mary’s Christmas Tree Festival in December, which is always a wonderful event to kick off the Christmas period.
It has been wonderful to watch our students' confidence soar. Many have performed at local community events this year, while others have taken the leap to branch out into independent bands and ensembles. Seeing them use the skills, technique, and confidence gained from their teachers and weekly lessons to create music independently is the ultimate reward for us.
Final Concert: Sunday, 19th July
We have one final event to look forward to before the summer break.
Our final concert of the year will take place on Sunday, 19th July at St Mary’s Church.
